Who we are
Two songwriters, one eclectic sound.
Eric and Michael started writing together back in 1998, soon after meeting in Charlotte. Twenty-five years later they made it official as Hook & Ladder Band, drawing inspiration from every genre, era, and the messy beauty of life itself.
They recently wrote & recorded “Says You,” the theme for the Says Who Sports podcast — with their debut EP on the way. Right now they're heads-down in recording mode; see what they're playing.
